Google’s new phones boast wider screens, better camera

The two devices both have new glass backs, unlike the previous devices' aluminium/glass-window design.

With the Pixel 2 duo, both come with a dual lens selfie camera comprising of an 8-megapixel standard lens and another wide angle lens also of 8-megapixel resolution. Shipping will begin on 1 November, so you'll be able to get your hands on one early next month. That £260 premium for the 64GB iPhone XS does get you more, including Face ID and that wonderful dual lens rear camera. That's the case with these new phones.

Google also announced the Pixel Slate (starting at $599), a large Chrome OS tablet aimed at professionals.

People familiar with Google's plans say that the company has set a long-running task to get rid of Android as a brand and as a product. And with a 99 United States dollars price cut and numerous same software updates that will grace the Pixel 3/3 XL it makes a good case for itself.

If there's one thing that could be said about every generation of Pixel phones, it's that they are all capable of capturing great photos. Instead it focuses more on computational photography: software-based improvements for photos.

It also provides for a reduction of weaponry and guards at the border and the defining of sections of the Demilitarised Zone. The Foreign Ministry said in a statement there has yet to be a "full-fledged" review on the lifting of the May 24 measures.

Google to bring Pixel 3 smartphones to Singapore in November
Apart from smartphones, Google has also launched the Pixel Stand which it claims to be the fastest wireless charger ever. Compared to previous models, the new smartphone Pixel became larger display (but not as big as in the 10th iPhone ).

Google on Tuesday unveiled the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones, two phones that were sold on the black market and reviewed during the summer, and then sold and reviewed in Hong Kong a few days before Google's press conference. Just don't go looking for a huge step up in the camera department with the Pixel 3. The sides of the phone are shiny aluminum.

Obviously, a bigger device equals more space for a battery so you'll find a 2915mAh battery in the Pixel 3 whereas the Pixel 3 XL sees a 3430mAh battery. The Pixel 3 XL starts at £869 SIM-free with 64GB, and it's an extra £69 for the additional Pixel Stand to support wireless charging.

The Pixel 3 XL, on the other hand, comes across with a 6.3-inch display and has a weight rating of 181 grams while the iPhone Max is the biggest and heaviest of the lot here with a 6.5-inch panel and a weight of 208 grams. This is a growing trend among Android phones, but the good part about most Android phones is that they let users have the option to hide the notch. After the Amazon Echo Show, it was a matter of time we'd see a smart speaker with a screen with Google Assistant. One significant difference is that the new handset features a sizeable notch on the front, rather than the bezels found on the Pixel 2 XL.

As always with any of its products, Google is making the Pixels available right away from the Google Store.
