Melania Trump: Deep State Op-ed Author 'Sabotaging' the Country

Trump was caught in a scandal during the 2016 campaign with the revelation of a tape from'Access Hollywood featuring him talking to host Billy Bush

In a New York Times editorial, the author said President Trump's "amorality" and "impulsiveness" had led to ill-informed and reckless decisions.

"The dilemma - which he does not fully grasp - is that numerous senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations", the official wrote.

It describes aides in the Trump White House as orchestrating an "administrative coup d'etat" by plucking documents off his desk to keep him from seeing and signing them.

"The crisis of our time is that people in positions of power see a president who shows "a preference for autocrats and dictators" and "anti-democratic impulses", but do not publicly stand against them, and so allow it to continue", tweets Congressman Don Beyer of Virginia. "While I generally enjoy reading fictions, this is a uniquely Washington brand of literature, and his anonymous sources do not lend credibility".

Trump also said The New York Times, news channel CNN and "all of these phony media outlets" will be out of business soon.

And the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said that she had never heard Mr Trump talking about assassinating the Syrian president.

Trump and others blasted The New York Times after the newspaper ran what it said was a column written by someone within the president's administration who called into question his judgment and vowed to block some of his wishes.

The opinion piece in The New York Times is similar to parts of a new book about Trump by reporter Bob Woodward. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's spokesman, Tony Sayegh, said on Twitter it was "laughable to think this could come from the secretary".

Twitter permanently bans conspiracy theorist Alex Jones
As you'll see, Jones starts out in his usual worked up state but he becomes belligerent when Rubio claims not to know who he is. Jones interpreted this to mean that Rubio was gonna throw hands, which, admittedly, would be wonderful to watch.

Actor Burt Reynolds Dead At 82
Two years earlier, the actor underwent heart surgery after his doctor found his arteries were closed during a routine physical. By 1974, Reynolds had hit it big and starred as an ex-football player who landed in prison in the film " The Longest Yard ".

Speaking with Hannity on his program, former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that the anonymous author had "repudiated our whole constitutional process".

A spokesman for Pence said the vice president does not write anonymous opinion columns.

The book claims that after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad ordered chemical weapons to be used against civilians in April of previous year, Trump called Mattis and said he wanted to assassinate Assad.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted a statement on Thursday telling people who are asking about the identity of the writer to "stop". The op-ed reinforced the book's disturbing portrait of a vain, venal, volatile man who has a vague relationship with the truth in a nation's capital that has become "crazytown". Mr. Trump says the person who penned the piece and declared themselves "a member of the secret resistance" is guilty of treason. And now even First Lady Melania Trump has issued a response.

Trump, appearing at an unrelated event Wednesday at the White House, lashed out at the Times for publishing the op-ed.

In one example, former chief economic adviser Gary Cohn reportedly took a letter off Trump's desk to keep him from signing it because Cohn feared the consequences for the USA position in Asia. It's like there's a sign that says 'In case of emergency, break glass, ' but these guys are like, 'I mean we could break the glass, but then there'd be glass everywhere.

"Not wishing to confuse the role I chose, as an educator of the public, and a potential treatment role, I referred them to the local emergency room without inquiring much further", Lee added to Salon.
